The Compassion Project

Dapaah-Comfort
Associate Counsellor
There are various aspects of our lives that can interfere with our personal success, social and family relationships, mental stability and overall well-being. Taking care of these needs are an important part of maintaining one's mental health. As a counsellor, I help clients identify what these needs are and addresses them.
I have completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and work as a counselling associate with the Compassion Project under the supervision of Pauline O'Brien, Ed.D., CCC-S, CCS-AC, RP.
As a woman of colour, I understand the reality of the barriers that we face and the intersection of both race and gender. I work to help clients build their self-esteem and confidence by encouraging a healthy self-love and appreciation of who they are and who they can be.
