Pauline is the Founder & Clinical Director of the Compassion Project. She is a Registered Psychotherapist, Canadian Certified Counsellor-Supervisor, and Certified Canadian Addictions Counsellor (Supervisor) with a Doctorate degree in Counselling Psychology from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto.


Pauline is passionate about mental health and addiction care. She has worked alongside first responders and healthcare providers throughout her career. 


Pauline has dedicated her career to helping others and in particular to helping heal caregivers. She is a clinical supervisor and a therapist for therapists. Most important, Pauline is a person living with mental illness and addiction. A person who has lived and survived trauma. Recovery is at the forefront of her life's work. 

One of Pauline's greatest strengths is that she is incredibly disarming. She has the ability to put folks at ease and can facilitate a greater understanding and awareness of capacity for change.

Pauline often uses humour and radical acceptance within her approach. She is a compassionate caregiver who gets truly excited to be a part of someone's healing journey. 

Pauline provides counsellor and psychotherapist supervision and psychotherapy. MODALITIES: EMDR, EGO STATE (parts work, inner child) Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, SSP (Polyvagal), ACT, CBT, DBT, MI, SFBT and other postmodern approaches, GOTTMAN LEVEL 1.

LENS: trauma specific/ Harm Reduction/Intersectional feminism/postmodernism/AOP. POPULATION: Youth/Adults/Couples/Groups
